Teaching Professional

This 2008 golf season will be my first as a teaching professional at Cherry Creek Golf Links. I’m currently enrolled in the PGA/PGM program and have taught professionally the previous two seasons at Pine Valley Golf Course in Marathon, Wisconsin subsequent to attending the Professional Golfers Career College in Orlando, Florida.

Although my PGA career aspirations began later in life, I have always had a tremendous love and respect for the game of golf since my very first swing. In 2002, through a comprehensive self-discovery player development program which I centered upon the theories of the world’s greatest golf instructors, I successfully lowered my handicap from double-digits to scratch and went on to pass the PGA’s Playing Ability Test.

My focus as a golfing mentor is to provide each student with the necessary “core knowledge” required for both short and long-term improvement. This approach to teaching the game of golf has a proven track record and will provide golfers of ALL playing abilities with a greater understanding and an increased self awareness of their actual task at hand, predicting where their ball will end up!

Along with my schedule of private lessons and clinics; throughout the season I will be holding a series of Junior Golf Programs designed for boys and girls ages 5-18. Times, dates and details for each program are available on our website.

I am also an experienced custom club fitter and will offer advice to anyone interested in improving their ball flight.

“It’s easy to know when you’re doing something wrong; it’s our goal, that you know when you’re doing something right! Golf is more fun when you’re in control!”
